A week in Provence

The first vacation of the summer was a week in Provence, at La Fare les Oliviers, which is close to Aix en Provence. A crowd of 8 adults and 4 monsters stayed in this beautiful 17th century bastide:

We did nothing much except laze around under the trees, swim, barbeque and drink the local plonk.




Georgia enjoyed jumping into the water but objected a little when it was too cold, which in this part of the world means below 25 degrees C. She gets this from her mother.





We also discovered that Georgia is not scared of taking on babies bigger and older than her. Laoise was playing with her favourite orange toy, so Georgia wrestled her to the ground...






... and hurled it away ...




... and claimed victory from Cliodhna. She also enjoyed going after any baby with a tetine (dummy) and ripping it out of their mouth, even though she refuses to take a tetine herself. Maybe she has a moral objection to tetines.

Now she's back home and is pulling herself up vertical on anything she can - sofas, the push chair, the clothes rack, mummy's trousers...
