Jolly jumper

Yippee !! She slept through the night !! Well, almost - she woke us at 6.30, which I'm told is normal for many people but is pretty shocking for a European economist. Georgia is growing.

She is now 53cm long, and can fit into some of the bigger clothes that people have sent over. Here she is in Fran's jumper.

Flashback

When Georgia was 3 days old, a professional photographer took some shots in the hospital. As you can see, she has changed heaps since then. Apart from taking some terrific photos, the amazing thing was how the photographer managed to hurl Georgia around like a rugby ball without so much as a peep out of her. When we tried, she howled.

Remember that you can click on the photo to see a larger version.

Twins

Andy testing whether she could handle twins. Georgia with Anna, the daughter of Hilke and Martin. Anna was born on the same day as Georgia but is neither as cute nor as well behaved.

Today I'm posting a backlog of photos from the last few days of a wonderful three weeks with Sue, Bruce, Kathy, Paul and Ben.

Ben is very unsure about the walking elephant:

A trip away

On the weekend we did our first trip away, to the old port town of Honfleur in Normandy. Georgia was well behaved in the car, she was a perfect angel in the restaurant on Saturday night and seemed to enjoy the hotel. And Bruce got to drive around the Arc de Triomphe.

On Sunday we went to the beach. No chance of melanomas here.

New Year's Day

New Year's Day 2007, and Georgia's one month birthday, started with cuddle time with Nana Sue:

Then we went to a café and a walk to the Eiffel Tower:

Wrapped up warm, but getting hungry:

Some sneaky feeding hidden behind some bushes on the Champs de Mars:

And she ended the day by taking her first bottle, which she inhaled as aggressively as if it was a breast.
